ASU Wins

The ASU Bowling Club won the 4th Annual Camarillo Open this past weekend in Southern California using 900 Global and AMF 300 equipment. The team averaged roughly 212 per game in 8 qualifying games en route to their first title of the season. The tournament included 18 teams from universities in the West. ASU averaged over 230 for their 13 Baker format games in the finals – sweeping a strong Fresno State team in the first match, then played five games against both San Jose State and another Fresno State team in the race-to-3 matches. ASU bowler Brian Makan led the tournament for individuals for 8 games of qualifying, shooting 1866, while using a combination of the Break S75 and the Code. We would like to thank our sponsors 900 Global, AMF 300, and Verve the energy drink that kept use energized through out the event. With a special thanks to Vayle Florie and Scott Poddig for running and hosting this great event.
